AGENCY EXPRESS was established in 1998 to provide a daily ‘For Sale’ board service to the 18,000 estate agency companies in the UK. A market which is worth an estimated 20 million a year.

Today, the company is the UK’s only national ‘For Sale’ board company with a network of 96 franchisees providing service to approaching 25% of all UK estate agency offices. The company also has established franchised operations in Ireland and further overseas expansion is planned. Agency Express currently conducts an average of 4,700 ‘For Sale’ board movements a day.

Our Services

At any one time there are approximately 1.5 million ‘For Sale’ and ‘To Let’ boards displayed on the streets of the UK & Ireland, each one of these will have to be erected, serviced, changed to display ‘Sold’ when a sale is agreed and finally, be removed. In short a multi million pound service industry, the results of which can be seen on virtually every street.

Whilst nationally, one in every five boards will have already been erected by an Agency Express operator, others are still erected odd job men or by local sign companies that offer very limited geographical coverage and generally offer a poor standard of image and service.

Agency Express was founded specifically as a franchise business to fill this all important gap in the marketplace – a marketplace which continues to grow year by year but is not affected in any way by the ups and downs of the property market itself.

The unique Agency Express Franchise Package requires an investment of £18,500 (plus VAT which is fully reclaimable) and has been carefully designed to get your business up & running straight away, The Franchise Package includes;

• Fully Signwritten Van – the deposit paid (equal to 4 months repayment) on your brand new Renault Master van complete with the distinctive Agency Express livery, interior racking and removable Sat Nav system
• Comprehensive Training Programme – 8 days training covering every aspect of the business and the launch of your business within your own territory
• Specialist Equipment – including laptop computer, printer, fax machine, specialist tools, corporate clothing, stationery and promotional literature

Ongoing Support

The Agency Express Head Office is based in Norwich, from where a large dedicated support team provide back up and support to the franchisee network. The profitability of the company is dependant totally on the success of its franchisees and assistance is only ever a telephone call away.

Over 50% of the business enjoyed by our franchisees nationally is with our large corporate customers and sourcing of national account business is a fundamental support function.

Whilst our unique SignMaster on-line board ordering system reduces your administration to a minimum, our Centralised Accounts Department takes care of all invoicing for you. They even chase payments for you, so you don’t have to worry about bad debt and leaves you the time to concentrate on building your business.

 

The Earning Potential

Each franchise territory is carefully designed to give you the maximum reward for your efforts and to enable you to put additional vehicles and employees on the road as your business expands. Ultimately, your earnings are determined by your own ambition and there is no upper limit!

During 2005 our top franchisees turned over in excess of £150,000, with many others exceeding £100,000 but an established single vehicle operation should turnover in the region of £70,000 which, after expenditure should provide a net profit of approximately £48,000.

 

Finance

The franchise departments of all high street banks are happy to provide finance (subject to status) and banking facilities to Agency Express franchisees. Our Franchisees

Our franchisee operators come from a wide and varied background, with only a handful having any previous experience of self employment. Previous careers include IT managers, firemen, bank managers, lorry drivers and business managers - all however, had no experience in our business prior to joining us.
