Are You Aware of Part 3 of the DDA?

posted on 04-Dec-2007

In 2004 legislation was passed that aimed to achieve equality between disabled and able-bodied people.  All building owners, with premises accessible to the public, should have made adjustments to the physical structure of their premises in order to accommodate disabled people. It is unlawful to not cater for the needs of disabled people; signage must be in place within the building that would help direct disabled people.
JEC have an extensive range of DDA products for organisations such as Schools, Hospitals and all buildings with public access.  These products are essential in order to comply with legislation and include a range of durable signs.  JEC are more than just a catalogue, they are able to source products to meet the requirements of each organisation.
