Harrow Businessman Recognises Potential

After 11 years as a finance director for a conference and exhibition centre, Stuart Fisher felt it was time for a career change and has launched his own family business, Recognition Express Harrow.

Recognition Express specialises in providing organisations with corporate recognition goods such as name badges, branded promotional products, business gifts and signs. Stuart, who has lived in Harrow for six years, worked in the financial industry for more than 25 years, and his head for figures will prove invaluable in his new career. He will be working alongside his wife Beverley, who worked as an administrator before taking time out to raise their family.

Stuart said: “We had been thinking of going solo for a long time because we wanted to change our lifestyle, but setting up your own business from scratch is a daunting prospect. That’s why we decided to buy a franchise. You have all the autonomy of owning your own company but with the support of a proven business model and experience of the franchisor behind you.”
